My name is Steve Korts, I am the owner and founder of San Diego Medicare Broker.

I was born at Sharp Hospital in San Diego, grew up in Rancho Penasquitos and Escondido. I lived in Oceanside for about 20 years and now reside in beautiful Encinitas.

I started my carrer in insurance with a Nationally known company as a captive agent and since 2016 have been an independent broker for Health & Life insurance. I represent over 70 carriers and am able to provide a true 3rd party recommendation based on your situation.

In my off time, I enjoy surfing, golf, hiking, traveling, cooking and gardening. Fun fact about me is that I have been trying to get on Jeopardy for years, taking the online test when it is available. Maybe someday I’ll be on!!
